Jprice, you can't be serious. Razor Ramon? 1-2-3 Kid? Diesel? Come on! The early 90s is when old school wrestling was finally laid to rest. These 3 guys helped start the attitude era, but that doesn't make them old school wrestlers by any means. Ok, the Harts and Bulldog were still in the business in the 90s, but they trained under Stu Hart, obviously one of the best true old school wrestlers. Old school is about the guys who gave their lives for the business, not for fame and glory. Old school is about making the industry what it is by giving your heart, body and soul. It's not about making demands for a championship title because you think you've paid enough dues. I grew up watching WWF (not WWE), WCW, NWA, AWA, etc. Those guys are the ones that are old school. Now, a few of today's wrestlers do have the ability and knowledge to be good wrestlers. But even fewer of them will ever truly qualify as old school wrestlers. The whole idea of old school wrestlers or wrestling is dead because that mentality has been stripped from the industry.

Nature Boy Rick Flair, Barron Von Raschke, Ivan and Nokita Koloff (tag team), Rowdy Roddy Piper, Ricky Steamboat even Dusty Rhodes. Yes, these are some of the old school guys. Mainly Rick Flair & The Barron, but when I was 10 to 13 years old, me and my brother would do all the signature moves. One of the best ever is The Claw & the Close Line. That was what made it old school. The best part of it was there was not 20min. of hype before the wrestling got started. And the funny thing about all of this to me is I am a very prissy girl. But, the memories are the best. And, it did not hurt that Rick Flare lived in my town along with The Barron & The Koloff's, so I saw them a lot.

Old School for me is early 90's when I first started watching. When they had real talent and it was more entertaining back then. You didn't know who was going to win every match and how they're going to win.
Razor Ramon. 1-2-3 Kid. Diesel. Bret Hart. Owen Hart. Yokozuna. Bam Bam Bigalow. Road Warriors. British Bulldog. Vader. Mr. Perfect. Brian Pillman, I could go on forever.

Wrestling...Pure ground and pound wrestling...mat wrestling at its best...some gimmicks around but wrestling was what it was about...
no stupid comedy skits like with what you get out of dx.
great interviews that talked about the wrestler and the match and the titles had meanings
that is what old school means to me.

When you couldn't predict the outcome of every match, know who was going to get picked in an on-line poll and when the bad guys held the titles. Oh yeah, better wrestling too.

It was a great era where there were unexpected wins and events and many wrestlers who actually wrestled. Unlike today where wrestlers are just handed matches because they are supposedly popular and don't even know how to wrestle.
