Would you prefer a Night Elf hunter or a Draeni hunter? I am on lvl 16 for a Night Elf and I like the character, just bought the expansion pack too. Mostly, I am worried that if I don't play the extra characters they give you am I getting my money-worth from the expansion pack? I am partnered with someone on my night elf and we do everything together but I sort of want a draeni?

If you like your character, stick with your character. Starting from scratch, I might want the Draeni, their ablities do give a nice bonuse to hunters.
Other than Jewelcrafting and the new races the expansion pack doesn't have any real new content until you are in your high 50's. That's when things really kick off for it. 90% of the new pack's content kicks of at level 56.
PS I've never played the Draeni, but the Blood Elves have some REALLY nice loot for some of their quest rewards, you might want to try to get into the Draeni area to see if they have the same.
