Considering that's exactly what George Bush and Tony Blair did with the result that thousands upon thousands of people lost their lives, and are still doing so, it's about time they were brought to justice. Yes, I agree that it is a crime and a heinous one at that.

There are too many variables to answer this question. Mass media today has too much power over people's opinions. They spin the facts - present them in a certain way - to persuade people to believe what they want them to.
