Were Pink Floyd, The Eagles, and PANTERA? I know its a strange combination but I relate all three bands and most of their songs to my life on a daily basis.And who agrees with me when I say Chris Cornell has gotten so much better since he went solo??

I think you forgot Led Zeppelin. I think they put out better music than the Beatles, but didn't get the recognition for it. Pink Floyd, there is not another band that sounds remotely like them, they are simply original. The Eagles are probably the best American band ever, better than the Doors and Aerosmith. Pantera, I'm not a big fan of heavy metal, so I can't really comment on them. My list though is Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and The Who...best 3 bands of all-time.

I agree with Pink Floyd. But I'd replace the other two with The Doors and and The Rolling Stones. The Eagles and Pantera are good though.

I saw Chris Cornell live on Jay Leno or something and I thought he sounded horrible!!! I love Soundgarden and Audioslave but WOW that was kinda weird of him, i thought lol. But those are the best 3 bands ever according to history and music nowadays.. I may replace Pantera with the Beatles though, although i like both

I totally agree with the Eagles...not so much with the other two.
I'd say the best 3 bands are The Eagles (and Don Henley solo), Journey (classic!) and Sugarland (I'm from SC...I gotta rep some country!)
