political candidates make any claims to get votes, christian or not.

It varies from candidate to candidate... Heck we had Pat Robertson running for President years ago, and he's about as "Christian" as they come.
Yet then again, we also have Hillary who pretends to be Christian, pretends to be Black, pretends to be Middle-class, pretends to be American...
I really don't WANT a "strongly-Christian" official... that starts to lead us down a road to potential "Radical Christian-Fundamentalism"
