Similar to the "All Star" games?

A game with players 30 and above vs players younger than 30 might be good, but not rookies vs veterans. If by rookies you mean players in their 1st NHL season, you just wont be able to find a full roster of good players and they would be completely destroyed.

If the rookie class anything like the year Sid got drafted into the league the rookies might stand a chance, otherwise vets all day.

i think the Veterans would win but i also think that this would be a good idea for a practice game it would teach the rookies what kind of mistakes they make and help them improve their game especially if they played the Veteran players more than once for scrimmage games

Horrible idea. rookies would not stand a chance. ever wonder why you rarely see rookies in an allstar game? because it takes awhile to develop.

I think this would be an interesting concept.I think the Veteran
players would win but the Rookies would hold their own
because of enthusiasm and a chance to prove themselves.

It would be a one way game.. No fun to watch.. maybe they should have No all-star game... does anyone even watch the all-star game like they use to?
