this is Bush's clever little ploy to armt he bombers for Iran bombings.

Personally, I would authorize $100 billion and tell Bush the well is dry after that runs out. So he better fire all the military contractors, start pulling out the military immediately and use that money to redeploy our soldiers/marines and equipment back to America.

They should not but they will. I hoped a Dem congress would bring change. Same business as usual. And you are right, Bush needs his money to "Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran" as McCain said so eloquently.
I think they have bombed Iraq enough. Over a million Iraqis dead, over 4 million displaced. Enough is enough. Our National Guard belongs at home.

Bush is completely unwilling to work with democrats on the home front, yet he wants billions for the wars he has started, and is likely planning on starting still.
I hope Congress is smart enough to see through the charade.

I believe they will give him some of what he wants, and that I agree with. The Congress needs to insist that every dollar is accounted for, and if it calls for more or less than what is asked for then so be it.

Yes, we are in WWIII. The fight against radical muslim is a fight we must win. Americans need to understand that these people will destroy the western culture as we know it. Not because we like Israel, bu instead because they hate progress.
