Haier or kenmore, will someone please tell me which brand is better?

Question

I'm hesitating between these two models. Which one do you think I should get? All I want is more space in the fridge so that it holds more stuff and its reliability.

I honestly can't recommend either as I have not owned either as a refrigerator.

But I can offer my opinion of both companies.....

Kenmore - I own THREE vacuums, which range in age from 37 years old to 6 years old...and all three still work. I also owned Kenmore washers and dryers. When I sold them they still worked perfect...only sold to buy my Kitchen Aid. My Kenmore portable dishwasher is pushing 15 years and still outperforms all other built-in dishwasher.

Haier - I have owned three dehumidifiers which NONE have made it through one single summer.

Take from my experience what you will. I hope I shed some light on things for you.

I've come to detest Sears lately but must admit the appliances have been good to me......and I realize Kemore appliances are often made by Whirlpool and just receive the Kenmore name plate........one wonders who makes their mini frigs.....

Haier is a Chinese company. I prefer to wave the flag hoping a while longer and not support a Chinese company. That said, their refrigerators are US made.

I drive a Honda so am being a hypocrite.

I've had no experience with Haier, so can't guide you. However, my detest for Sears is so great I will not walk into their store, so guess I'd personally get the Haier.

Can't go wrong with a Kenmore. I have bought nothing but Kenmore appliances for almost 40 years. In fact, I bought a new fridge and my old one was 31 years old. they last forever.

Whirpool makes Kenmore products. Whirlpool is a great brand as well.

I have been stung by Sears--so for many reasons, I avoid their stores like the plague.
I would check other places before I bought any of their appliances or go to the end of the earth to find something else.

Amana or Whirlpool has great refrigerators and they stand behind their name.
