Im concerned now and would like to know how is your blood pressure???When and how often do you go and get it checked???

I check mine all the time. Ive been diagnosed with hyper-tension and I am on meds to control it. But everytime im in the pharmacy I pop into that "check your BP" machine.
My normal is 140/85

I never thought about blood pressure till I had a check up at the docs, it was quite high, he gave me diuretics and it did go down but mainly cos I was then aware of what brings it up [ smoking. drinking, high cholesterol ] I stopped taking diuretics as they caused dehydration ,and just try and keep a check on it. I have one of those little machines so can do it myself. Main thing is don't worry about it as that will stress you and raise your BP !

My husband and my 16 yr old son have high blood pressure. They take medicine to regulate it. We have a home blood pressure cuff to check their blood pressure with.

Strange but my blood pressure is normal, a miracle as my diet has a lot of cholesterol and sugar in it , and i used to smoke a lot, for 45 i feel good.

my blood pressure is 70/110 and i get checked every 6 month.

my blood pressure is fine my pressure don't go up unless i am very mad. i get my blood pressure checked every 6 weeks or so.

The last time I had my bp checked Oct 3, it was 180/ 120, I am now on Norvasc & due for another check-up.

I would have to say ok..I usually get it checked once a year when I go to my annual check up or unless I go to the doctor any other time during the year. O=)

i get mine checked every six months. Although I work with nurses & doctors so if I am concerned for any reason then I have it checked at work
