Why is it that doctors & some books will tell you that its okay to give some dairy products to older babies, such as yogurt & cheese..but then say that you have to wait until they turn a year old to give milk?

Milk doesn't have all the nutrients that you under 1 yr old baby needs. It isn't that it isn't safe for them to have, it is just not enough nutritionally.

Sorry, yet there is merely no way that this has any bearing on custody. the youngster became unwell. The surgeon counseled no dairy or solids, even though it quite is as much as the discern or felony parent to choose even if if that suggestion is lifelike or no longer. Pediatricians lie too. they are asserting that they help breastfeeding, yet each and every time there's a situation, they push formula. Many pediatricians refuse to correctly known that a team of vaccines given at as quickly as could make some infants quite unwell, so the discern is vilified for refusing different injections. i'm getting it, yet then permit's remember that neither the mummy nor the grandmother have been seen extra healthful to take value of this toddler. basically a reminder - no rely what a toddler has been fed or no longer fed, in the event that they develop into very unwell they could be hospitalized with electrolytes out of whack due fullyyt to the vomiting. that is why they're interior the well-being facility.

Because yogurt and cheese have been fermented - bacteria have changed the milk proteins to bacterial proteins, thus rendering the possible allergens non-starters. The kind of milk products that still have the allergens are milk, cream, ice cream, cream cheese, and cottage cheese - anything that hasn't been incubated with bacteria/yeast/and or fungi (think green and blue cheeses) or hasn't had complete fermentation are a problem.

Cow's milk is very hard on developing intestines, can cause the intestines to bleed, interferes with iron absorption and is quite a potential allergen. Its best to wait until the baby's guts can handle such things - and allow their intestines to mature more.

Cows milk is higher in sodium than breast milk or formula, little babies can't process all that sodium and you can damage their kidneys. Processed milk products like cheese and yogurt also have a lower incidence of allergic reaction. My first born was started on milk at 10 months. He was still breast fed, but his dr felt that if I needed to give a bottle he was big enough for cows milk.

Untill your baby is a year old milk is their main sustinance and baby milk formulas contain all the nutrients a baby needs whereas cows milk doesn't. Once your baby reaches the stage where s/he starts eating solids then feel free to give him/her little fromage frais or dairy products designed for babies - you'll easily find them in the childrens yoghurt section.
