For cleaning surfaces such as bathtubs and stove tops I have found nothing better than Lysol Tub and Tile cleaner. It may be more expensive but it saves so much time and elbow grease!

Depends on how you define "grease". Different surfactants are effective against hydrocarbons of different length.

In general detergents that rely heavily on ionic surfactants are best on non-grease dirt. The original laundry detergent of this type was Tide. ("Best on earth")

Detergents that rely heavily on non-ionic surfactants are better on oil and grease. The original laundry detergent of this type was All.

When there's a spill that needs to be cleaned up, they tend to use Dawn dishwashing detergent. They sell it in truckload quantities just for this purpose. Dishwashing detergents produce a lot of suds - and the surface area provides a place for grease to go.

Soap that contains high levels of dirt would most likely help cut the most grease. Dirt helps clean most things. Try brands like Dirty Brand and Dirt-Wash-Awesome.

Dettol Disinfects clothing if you use a public laundromat or they are just extemely dirty. Just use a capful w/ you regular detergent.

To really cut grease mmmm I have to say Gain is the best.

Dish soap, probably Dawn- and you need only a tiny amount to do the trick. Laudry soap- I like Tide- though Gain is also really good.

Murphy's Oil Soap works good for clothes---presoak....Dawn for dishes....vinegar for cleaning.
