Well, you certainly COULD. But space is mostly empty - like, 99.9999 percent empty. So the odds of striking anything along your way are pretty slim. It's much more likely that you'll be affected by gravity wells created by objects and your route will be changed.

Einstein said that at the speed of light mass would stretch out paper-thin. Also, time slows down as you APPROACH the speed of light. There are theories that if it was possible (however, very unlikely) that you could reach the speed of light that you would instantly reach any destination in the Universe, but much time would pass on Earth. ex: 1000 light years traversed, 1000 years went by on Earth. The article said it would take about two years to reach light speed, two years to come out of it, so in actuality it would be 1004 years. To answer your question, no you wouldnt hit anything because you would bepass every thing and be there instantly (in your perspective anyway).

in physics, if u travel the speed of light, then u bend space and time... theoretically. this isn't a very accurate example though: a spaceship containing 1 man travels in space for 2 years. when he comes back to earth, 5 years has already past. this means that the man in the space ship is now 3 years younger... when the spaceship reaches the speed of light, it bend space (or some say they go to another dimension) so it doesn't crash into anything specially meteors, comets, space rocks... that is, if there is a kind of spaceship that can bend space and time. kinda complicated, but did my best to explain..

Firstly, it is impossible for anything or anyone that has 'mass' to travel at the speed of light. Secondly, even if it was possible, anything between point A and point B that got in the way would be crashed into, with obvious results.

Switch on you flashlight or the headlights of you car and you will see something traveling at the speed of light. Do they ever crash into anything on their way from point a to point b? I think you got your answer.

Of course if you were traveling too fast you would not have enough time to see where your going or avoid an obstacle.

This happens all the time in car accidents all the time where people are moving above speed limit and time is too short to avoid the vehicles that is obstructing the path.
The faster you move time gets shorter ,so the less time you have to make a decision to avoid collision., and the harder it is to stop.
If you were moving at Quasi light v elocity you would never be able to stop on time.

In some sci-fi we use an selection dimensional container or pocket universe called Hyperspace or Subspace. Hyperspace is asserted to be smaller then Realspace and in famous guy or woman Wars planets and stars solid a great gravity shadow in Hyperspace properly small rocks have practically no impression like floating above the water. i understand somewhat much less approximately famous guy or woman Trek and deform force even nevertheless i like it extra. To me, warping area sounds lots extra possibly to artwork and extra secure to do then punching a hollow right into a decrease layer of area. the assumption is to stretch area around the deliver to make a bubble. this could kinda positioned the deliver in it quite is very own universe. next the deliver warps the distance out side the bubble so area strikes, no longer the deliver. So could the deliver hit no longer something however the warp bubble blow each difficulty aside? In famous guy or woman Trek riot somebody mentioned "Subspace weapons have been banned".

No. At that point we would have computers that could navigate obstacles at such fast speed we wouldnt have to worry about it. You could stay in your stasis chamber while the ship made decisions at rates that we could not even conceive of right now. To give you a hint, circuits will be etched on electrons.
Of course, this is mere speculation, and it is a few hundred year in the future before this is possible.

Yes, we would crash into everything that was on our way from point a to point b. What you didn't qualify is that if we were translucent like light is so that we could pass through solid objects.

That's a big IF, because it isn't possible. But yes, if there were a brick wall in your way, you would crash through it at the speed of light. But, nothing can move that quickly except light.
