Lighter. Think of it this way: Say you're used to waking up at 6:00 AM. Starting next week, when your "body" says it's 6:00, the clock will say it's still only 5:00. So you get to sleep in an extra hour. By the time you get out of bed (at "clock" 6:00), it will be lighter outside.

actually, to correctly answer your question, IT will not be any darker or lighter in the am than it was before you set your clock back. it will be lighter earlier by i hour.. and it will be dark earlier in the evening. forgive me, i am just playing with your words. have a good day. ---[ no. 2 answer and those like it are correct. as am i.]

I actually believe the 3rd answer is correct. Where I'm @ in Oh, it's still a little dark @ 7am, so if it's SUPPOSE to be 7 when the time changes it will be 6 and therefore it will still be dark. I hope this helps!

darker...when you are used to waking up at 6 now you are waking up at 5...it's darker at 5 than it is at 6
