I would rather to go Vegas than play with paper and glue sticks!! Time to trade in the snooze fest buddies for some people that still have lust for life. I have NEVER heard of a weekend trip to scrapbook...that's just scary.

edit; I'm married with kids, but I get enough glue stick time helping kids with art projects. Jesus Christ, maturity has nothing to do with it, people! It's about balancing work with play, family with friends.

You should go scrap booking with them and take along someone that's scantily clad, on a leash and collar perhaps. I'd volunteer but I'm booked through Valentine's Day.

Sounds like your friends have matured. There is nothing wrong with growing up and redirecting your time and energy towards things that better suit your mature interests. People grow up, gain wisdom, and in turn, live differently. That's life. If you have not gotten to this point in your life yet then you should probably seek new friends that you can better relate to. You will understand when you get on their level.

We used to have wild parties with a mechanical two seater bull and pitchers of Lemon Drops. We had disclaimers made up and people stood in line to get in. There were wild women, hot men and great tunes. Now you're married and I've seen the error of my ways. See - I'm not even hittin on Lucy up there. . . . . though God knows I want to . . .

I had a girl asking me to join her scrapbooking club thing a couple of years ago. I asked her if they drink while doing it, she said no. So I had to tell her NO! I didn't tell her why though.

If we could drink, it might be a little fun hanging with the girls...

I like to scrapbook, but only if there's nothing on tv and I don't have anyone to play with.

But if someone said let's go party I'd put my scrapbooking stuff up and put on my naughty undies.

Well, I would suggest you hang out with them once in awhile for easy fun times....If you still like them don't give up on them. This being said....You could find some other people to do your wild things with. You don't have to be in ONE group..this isn't high school.

I know what you mean - that sucks. My friends are getting married and making babies now, and they are no longer any fun. "I can go out, but I have to be home by 9pm to pay the babysitter..."

Cumm "sow your wild oats" with a young stud like me, baby.

Friends change, if you find your friends are to slow paced get some new ones. If your old friends still want to be friends with you chances are they'll change once they see your not hanging out with them anymore.
