Sinatra, you say he's definitely on something, then give us a link to an answer where the person says he's NOT on anything.
You confuse me sometimes.
I LOVE disgruntled Yankee fans. - you all make me laugh.

It could very well be possible that he's been on something in the past, but definitely not for the past year or two. Guys will naturally put on some weight as they age especially with vigorous work out routines. I was never really suspicious of Ortiz being on anything though, his numbers didn't show a dramatic drop off after all these investigations and crackdowns. He's had some health issues, and valid ones that don't point towards performance enhancement use. I would say Roger Clemens is more guilty of performance enhancement use than Ortiz.

You do realize that he isn't as huge & ripped as Bonds, Canseco or McGwire. The only thing that has actually gotten bigger since he joined the Red Sox is his belly. The only reason why he wasn't hitting the same numbers on the Twins was because he was coached to aim for base runs and not homeruns (as weird as it may sound).
Quit pointing fingers: Just because one athlete is playing well after a slump doesn't mean he/she's jacking up with the 'roids

Of course, you think his Knee issues are the result of running, for this DH?.. only with Mitchell on the Board of Director for the ESPN/New England darling-team... that's running MLB/Selig's the (phony) investigation for the last 2+ years.. you'll never see a Red Sox player implicated..
Remember, Selig awarded the Red Sox to Henry... who part-owned the Marlins, and gave the Marlins to their other freind (Jeffrey Loria) who ran the Expos into oblivion... and gave them to the MLB coffers... to be sold, etc.
It's a sham, as was the releasing of the Byrd/HgH information with 2 games to go vs. the Red Sox -- and no coincidence, if you really see/know what the Sox are ALL about... (you think they didn't offer Boras his numbers on Arod, to release the story along with the Red Sox win last night?)

There's nothing to debate. Of course he's on something. He's in the majors for 11 seasons and only started hitting a great amount of home runs in 2003. Before 2003, he never had more than 20 home runs. Plus his injuries are "coincidently" the same symptoms you get from steroids and HGH. Now it's not as clear and obvious as Bonds, but it is still pretty damn convincing.

Everyone will be a suspect for yearas to come...no proof means no way to say but he did improve greatly all of a sudden. Maybe his eye sight improved though, he is still a fatty like he was in Minnesota.

If Big Papi is huge, it's because he loves food. That extra weight across the middle is not human growth hormone. That's chow and lots of it. He is not on drugs. He is awesome. Deal with it. There is no legitimate debate.

Casapula, thats a lot of crazy accusations you are throwing around. Can I ask you, did they really walk on the moon? Did Oswald act alone? Was Roswell a cover up to something bigger than all of us?

So what, every winning proffesional athlete is on steroids. They just have the money to pay for a doctor who can monitor and hide their steroid use.
