yep, they have two legs one side that are longer than the other side, that stops them from rolling down the hill
the only flaw is that if they make a mistake and stand on the shorter side :0/
they are so clever eh? I love sheep and cows baaaamoooooo

if they areDevon sheep the front legs are shorter than than the rear legs as the sheep like to face down hill watching the traffic..
Sheep in the more Northern parts of the country have longer front legs as they like to face up the hill with their backs to the traffic

Do you know - I actually live on a farm and I often wonder that question myself - surely my cows get leg ache when standing on a hill all day??!!!!

when i was a kid my mum told me a haggis was a scottish animal that lived on hills so they had longer legs on one side than the other.
we went to scotland to visit my grandfathers family and i didnt see these elusive animals.
When i found out her lie, it took me years to believe there was such thing as an aberdeen angus, i thought she also made this up.
