That does not sound natural or normal to me, I think she should bite the bullet and go to the doctor.

it shouldnt have a strong smell to it. and i mean if her nose is no where near it and she can smell it. Thats a sign of a infection or vaginitis. Then she will need to see a doctor.
Tell her not to be em brassed, every woman gets problems.

No, it is not normal for discharge to have an odor. She needs to go to the doctor for treatment. If you are sexually active, you may need to be treated as well. Ask the doctor.
