is it really painful? how is it done? i have been bleeding for a month and my doctor told me i need to have a biopsy done to check for cancer but i'm really scared and really worry about it.
Please only serious answers and thanks for your responses.

I had one a very long time ago. Let me just say this ASK YOUR DOCTOR TO PUT YOU TO SLEEP FOR IT.

With any luck they are much better. But I still remember the pain many many many years later.

I never had one. I had a a cervical biopsy and it did hurt. I felt a sharp pinch and felt the pulling of my insides. My mother in law had a uterus biopsy and she was in the hospital overnight. She had to avoid certain activities and had alot of cramping. In the end, she got a hysterectomy.
