So lets set up a little scenario: A very famous man has been hanging out with your son. One day your son tells you that this man touched him inappropriately. Are you going to settle for money or do you want that man in jail at all costs? Be honest people, I'd want that man in jail if he TRULY did molest my son.

I'm sorry, no amount of money could make me want to keep a child molester out of jail... there's a deeper meaning to this question if you don't get it yet. I think most people would want the person in jail. So WHY did someone settle for money... is it possible that that is all they wanted?

Jail. Settling for the money won't keep the man away from other young children so definitely jail.

Lol i aint going for money like those in michael's case and press charges as a last resort.definately i would want them behind bars.I have a good amount of $$ and i wont go for it.Only if i was very poor and having problems at home and due to my financial reasons and the criminal being rich he can get away with things(ya know sometimes money can make things happen) and in the end i would be the one losing, i might settle for the money but only if the situation was that difficult.

But yeah ur right on my question, fox news did a decent thing afterall, reporting michaels innocence, but u sure CNN and others didnt cause the court decide the verdict not them right?

If that person only settles for money there's a good chance that his son served as a tool to get rich. If he really did care, he would want the guy in jail or dead. Its obvious that the child doesn't count in this story. Only the profit matters.

This clearly shows that the Chandlers were after the money... i just want to murder them.. for tarnishing the reputation of such a great man... I'm sure there was a big conspiracy to bring Michael down and Chandlers were a part of it...

The most important thing for me would be to secure my son from any type of evil. As for jail, that's up to the magistrate.
As for money, if it was given, I would probably donate it to the church or synagogue.

This is an extremely hard question to answer. On one hand, I would want the man to suffer his consequences by rotting in jail. But, the more rationale side of me (and I am just speaking for myself) says that making him pay with money would be pretty hard for him too. I would put every penny that he had to fork over towards my son's education. I wouldn't look at it as "settling". Look at it as atonement.

And...look at it this way, the man will have to pay for his sins one day. Have no doubt about that.

If I could get away with it, I'd kill him.
But definately I'd want him in jail!!! I don't care how much money he was offering! I don't care if it was millions and millions!
