Dear Mommy:

Things are going okay here in Camp Houston. Yesterday they taught us that if you're ever lost in the woods, many forrest bugs are edible. Lisa Baker actually ate an earthworm, which was encouraged by our camp counselor so as to "acclimate" (that's a new word I learned today) us to the idea of saving ourselves from starvation by eating raw critters for breakfast.

I didn't eat one. But later, during a game of "spin the bottle," I kissed Lisa Baker right on the lips...and even though she had eaten an earthworm earlier in the day...

I kinda' liked it...It was neato...

So don't worry... I always eat a warm bowl of porridge every morning just like you taught me, so now I'm all warm and fuzzy in the tummy...
I miss you, Mommy.

When can I come home? (sniffles)

yes, I did manage to get a little......same as always two scrambled eggs, one slice of toast with I can't believe it's not butter on it and a glass of skim milk....I used to just have coffee for breakfast, but I decided to give it a shot a few years ago and found I had so much more energy in the morning it's amazing...and now when I wake up I can't wait to have breakfast....it's my favorite meal of the day.

Nope, not until 8:15 this morning. I usually don't eat breakfast until around that time. From 4am until that I'm chugging the coffee!
