How about trying to approach life from different vantage points?

When life becomes uneventful, it is impossible that we would ask to live another life because we have already chosen the route that we have always been traveling. But what we can do is simply to be creative and look and approach the things we do from different views, different vantage points. Just to break the monotony of things, you know what I mean?

We all walk down our own special paths in life. But the difference lies in how we walk it. We always have a choice of either skipping, running or simply ambling down it; however it is we wish to reach the places that we would go. But we don’t always to look straight ahead on the journey; how about pausing to smell the flowers, gaze at distant mountains, drink from the springs or pause to lie on windswept meadows along the way?

What I’m trying to say is that it is us, ourselves, who can make our lives eventful or otherwise. When things become uneventful, it is simply because we are not doing anything to make it otherwise. We control the events – not vice versa…

Simply Live!

I never see life as "uneventful." I suppose this depends on what an individual considers events, or (boring) mundane. If life were all fun & action, we'd wear thin quite soon. I value whatever time I have to be introspective, relax, gain insights & simply enjoy the beautiful things I often have to let "pass me by" in the frenetic pace of work, obligations, tasks. Why would I want to "change" these restful times?
I honestly don't know what every day mundane means.

Edit: From some of the answers, it seems many people feel we simply must get up, out, & MAKE something happen. Why? Shahrizat's answer was beautiful, & expresses the way that I feel.

I pray for an uneventful day so I can get some rest. My freight
train doesn't stop at any stations...it just keeps chugging
along at warp speed. Sometimes I come home, turn off
the phone, put in about 10 videos and veg out. I used to
want my life to be more exciting...so I started travelling
globally, got into the music biz, aquired an over stimulating
group of friends and am now the Barbara Stanwick of
a Big Valley filled with painters, sculptors, musicians,
actors, inventors, poets and intellectuals of every kind.
Help me.

Life is only mundane if you judge it to be so. Its up to you to make events happen in your life: Get tickets to a concert or a game; take the extra step at work to do more than is expected. Whatever it takes its up to you. No matter how you judge your life, as being exiting or not, the truth of the matter is knowing how much spiritual progress you made in the experience.

Hey, girlfriend. Your reactions and actions in life are completely honest and understandable. I totally understand where you're coming from. It looks like your parents are distracted by some sort of stress maybe. Or that they are extremely focused on themselves and are forgetting to think about how to just accept everyone's natural attitudes to life and be understanding through that. So that is the important point that I've been thinking about lately. Be completely honest and natural about your views on life. I mean COME ON here we are, this is all we got, and we have to enjoy it the best we can. We don't need some sort of weird control freaks forgetting the actual plot in life. But that means you gotta strive to understand how your parents and others are really feeling behind their actions too so you can form an empathetic understanding. Just keep building it up, come on, life sucks for a lot of people, but you just gotta get good at making it better for everyone you can.

I use my imagination and sometimes write about my life in such a way that it seems far from mundane. Sometimes, I'll find interesting things to talk about even if it's just something I read or heard via TV, radio,or the internet. I'll take a walk and see what I can imagine into the scenery.

I don't do anything. Life has enough to do without me mucking around and stirring things up. Life usually does pretty much what it wants anyway so I just keep my head down and try not to get hit by the fallout. Of course, it doesn't always work and life insists itself upon me. At those times I find that I need to 'get medieval' on Life and show it who's wearing the pants.

I especially enjoy the quiet and peace of 'uneventfulality' - lol - I just coined a new term.

I revel in tranquility - I know it's an oxymoron!

I find events unfold before me. There are always opportunities I can play upon if I so desire. So, it depends on my mood.

If I'm feeling a bit frisky, I'll participate. If not, I'll remain inside my thoughts.

I get out and see something different. Clear my brain and start over again.Seems to me that every thing that is uneventful will somehow happens to be very eventful. You might be looking to hard for that one thing.
