Why not let the two duke it out themselves without our involvement? Is it b/c Israel is our ally? Well then, what do they do for America? How many soldiers do they have in Iraq?

I agree, Israel will never stand on it's own until we make them face their own problems. It's like trying to fight your childrens fights for them.
This is also why we should discontinue sending them foreign aid. A billion dollars is enough.

I do not agree that it is inevitable that Iran will attack Israel. Some people are interested in havng us believe this because that way we keep the cash and arms flow into Israel. But it is highly unlikely.
Both Pakistan and India have nuclear weapns and they do not attack each other. We faced off the Soviet Union for well over 5o years without there beig a ¨hot¨war -because we were both nuclearized.
I do agree with you that we do far more for Israel than Israel does for us. Not only is Israel a drain but siding so onesidedly with it against Palestine has upset the region and made us very unpopular.
And yes,we are fighting the Iraq War for Israel. It was Israel (Mossad)who fed our government false information about WMD and our leaders preferred to listen to them instead of to the U.N. inspector Hans Blix!. It was Ariel Sharon who said on September 12,2001 that we,the U:S: had to attack Iraq! That was less than 24 hours after 9/11,when Iraq did not figure in any of the hypothesis of who the culprits of that terrorist act were! Yet there was Sharon screaming and pointing his finger at Iraq! As usual Israel got us to do what they wanted.

Wait a moment here. You want to know why there aren't any Israeli soldiers in Iraq? WHAT, ARE YOU STUPID? If you wanted to pull the entire Arab world into a single fight then yes, you would ask Israel for troops.
As for why we don't let Iran attack Israel first. Well that's kind of like asking why we don't let a murder happen first just so we can charge someone with it. If we can stop it, we do.
Iran isn't going to attack Israel until they have nukes. I am sure you aren't deliberately trying to say that you want Israel to be nuked before we do something to prevent it are you? Then again it appears that you are.
Oh and incase you idiots have forgotten the six day war. Israel took a very large portion of the countries around them. Perhaps you will remember the west bank and other similar locations that you have been screaming at them to leave for dozens of years now? Its not that Israel can't defend themselves, its simply that Iran isnt going to attack them with conventional weapons. They are going to pop a nuke or two on them.
So, do we wait until they are attacked before we do something about it?? You know I just don't understand why most Jews are Democrats...........

Look at it this way. Lets pretend you and your neighbor are good friends, but live where the police take 11 or 12 months to get there if there is a problem. Someone breaks into your neighbors house, shoots the husband, takes liberties with your friend, and is planning on killing all the children in the house. You have a rifle--do you A). Do nothing, call the police, and wait for them to remove the by then decomposed bodies or B). Take action and protect your neighbor.
The world stage isn't much different-if you let a friend down-do you think any of your other friends will help you in your time of need?

Israel would clean Iran's clock if Iran attacked them with conventional force. However, if Iran succeeds in building a deliverable nuclear device, a first strike against Israel would most likely be decisive.
You don't want to see Israel destroyed in such a way do you?

Israel has always been an Allie to us. Have you seen on a map how tiny Israel is? and how BIG Iran is. Israel just wants to live in peace but other countries keep wanting there space. Again this is just another jihads influx to invade and take over another small country, like Afghanistan, Iraq, Kuwait etc. then they will have enough power to take over the U.S.A.

Israel is a nation armed to the teeth courtesy of the US taxpayer, so in theory they are capable of defending themselves. However they'd prefer to stick to what they do best, slaughtering innocent civilians in the occupied territories, and let Uncle Sam fight the real wars on their behalf.

The Mullahs in Iran will never attack Isreal. If they do and lose their country will be in ruins and if they somehow managed to win the Mullahs would lose their scape goats and would then have to figure out how to distract the people's attention from where their oil profits are going to. No Iran needs Isreal more than Isreal needs Iran.
