i have heard that these so call heroes are actually the devil's work of art, so to speak (in my opinion)... u can see how corrupt the children's mind nowadays... these are all because of these cartoon characters... they promote children to do violence and convincing them that it is o.k to hurt others... i am not saying this just for fun or what, watch your kids when they are watching spiderman or Pokemon in action, they'll be glued to the tv... but when the commercial is on, u'll see them trying to imitate whatever they have watched... the next thing u know, they'll be down on the floor, kicking and punching... u might think that this is normal... but its not...

OK. 1. its fiction, fantasy and imagination, quite honestly super-beings whether heroes or villains, have to some extent been a fixture of every culture going back quite possible to Og and Ug sitting around the cave fire telling 'mammoth stories' and how they once saw Ig lift one with only one hand
2. most superheroes delay the violent acts as long as possible, most of not all are Reactive, Not Proactive in their application of force, Batman never handles a Gun (I guess their was a short stretch in the comics, but it was quickly ended), Superman (essentially a Living weapon) always tones adjusts his powers to match the villain, and often disables human villains by carrying them away vehicle and all
3. as much as TV, and media of any form "Warps fragile little minds" it is still first and foremost the parents responsibility to remind little Billy and Susie that its all pretend, and that they cannot shoot laser beams from their eyes, and that "Guns re bad, mmkay'
4. FYI, I know a family that limited their child's access to these 'bad influences", didn't let him play w/ toy guns, the whole thing, guess what, the Kid would pick up a plastic toy carpenter's T-square, and proceeded to play with it as a gun.

I don't know who "badman" is, but he sounds like MY kind of hero!
But, to give you credence for a serious question, I'd like to ask you to make one observation. Do you suppose that, before television and motion pictures, children never roughoused and tussled on the floor? That kids never played cowboys and indians, or cops and gangsters. Did older sisters NEVER inflict grief on little brothers?
I agree that children learn from what they observe, but TV is not the only influence. How many times have you read stories about criminals that were brough up in repressive family situations where the parent "taught lessons" at the end of a belt? I can only imagine that in some of those homes, television watching might have been VERY restrictive.

I have to say I think you are Crazy with that being said and out of my mind let me shed some light on this. These characters, as you put it are not the work of the devil, in all of them good fights evil, if you have young boys, this is helpful, to you in raising, a young man who wants to always be the good guy. The fighting will come in handy when some jerk hits on his date. I think you are taking it out of content, they do not show real violience any way, at the most a few punches, and some explosions, no worse than the movies you watch. These are basicly the same cartoons, you were raised on. Sit back, release, you do not need to be anal, to be a good parent, and blaming the world is played out.I think if you keep a boy from being a boy, he will turn around and want one, think about it.

You know what Super heroes do? They give people a sense of justice!! What's right, what's wrong. They inspire people. Because of all things they know what's right.
Kids imitate what they see, its how they learn!
