I posted a question earlier about my battery being drained but the battery & alternator is good. One answer was go to this website: http://www.wikihow.com/Find-a-Parasitic-Battery-Drain and I did exactly what it said & found that the light went out when I unplugged the fuse #7 named skim/hoodlp but the owners manual says interior lamp. What exactly should my next step be? What do I need to replace. Thank you so much. (2000 Jeep Cherokee)

Once the light goes out you need to determine which circuit on that fuse is drawing power. Most items that can draw down a battery overnight use enough power to locate. For example: lights that don't turn off, radio on with volume turned down, I've seen door pillar switches that don't work and the parking lights stay on because of it. On one rare occasion I found a relay that would not turn off in the rear window defogger circuit. Turn the key off and check both terminals on the rear window element, should be no power on either side. Wiring diagrams are a must. There usually are more items on a fused circuit than you can tell just from the symbols on a fuse cover. Good luck, BAX
