I've always gotten a good, deep belly laugh out of that stance --
Gloria Steinem was a Playboy Bunny, you know. And they don't hire "ugly women." She applied for a job just like anybody else, got the job and went "undercover" to do a story on the exploitation of women.
She was a knock-out. As are lots of intelligent women.
This is just rush appealing to the basest part of humans - AGAIN. To put down people who disagree with you.

First mistake, listening to anything Rush Limbaugh says.
Second mistake, of course that's not true. I happen to know some beautiful feminists who are razor sharp.
He's married to a fitness instructor. There's nothing wrong with that but I doubt he married her for her brain.

I don't like comments about ugly women on this site, when directed at either Ann Counter or Hillary Clinton, or anyone else.
All I can do is control what I say, not what others say. I try to keep a fairly high standard.

I like Rush, and didn't hear that one, but it had to be connected to something. You just left out that part intentionally or unintentionally, I don't know. However, have you ever looked at those blustering women? Gloria Steinem must have had a lot of make up and a better hairdo to get into the playboy club.
But ugly is as ugly does..
