If theres a cockroach in your home, whats your preferred method of execution? Why?

I usually just step on them, if I have shoes on. I'll find something flat if I'm barefoot, though--I don't like the squish.

scared of bugs? HA! ever since i was little I have been looking for bugs! I found a praying mantis and I would hold it in my hand (usually so that I could chase my mom with it and really scare her).... I guess that would put me under being brave when it comes to bugs. A cockroach is nothing! Just get a paper towel or something and through it outside or away. Probably kill it and flush it because those things can survive through a lot. snakes on the other hand... EW!

Before I had children I'd run a mile and wouldn't attempt to kill anything especially spiders which terrify me, but now I'm so scared they'll get on the kids I have no choice but to get them, I spray anything possible and get the hoover which I then leave on for half an hour to make sure its dead. I know that's horrible but if anyone can't understand the fear a spider causes don't knock it because its such a horrible feeling to be so petrified of something. I refuse to get stored things out and make my husband or mother get even coats that have been hung on the coat racks in the porch where i have seen the odd spider lurking, and then check in the arms and pockets.

Ha ha... bugs don't really bother me much... but if there is a cockroach in my house we have problems. That's gross. Execution method would be a couple of paper towels and to the garbage can.

First and foremost MAKE SOMEBODY ELSE KILL IT!! Secondly, if I am alone then I'd get a can of bug spray like "Spelling Nazi" said and spray the entire can on it so that it couldn't multiply in my house, then get a whole roll of tissue and scrunch it up so that I couldn't feel anything through the tissue when I pick it up and flush it down the toilet, then put any household chemicals on the spot to disinfect it, then walk around the entire house in disgust and spring clean every area of it, take a shower and then sit on the edge of my bed looking all around me mentally thinking "I WANT TO MOVE!"

Well, first I would freeze in my tracks and break out into a cold sweat. Then I would very cautiously go and get the Raid from under the bathroom sink, and drown the damn thing until it was white and foamy. Then I would be so freaked out that I would have trouble getting to sleep for at least a month or so.
EDIT: My 16-year-old son knows I'm like this about bugs, so sometimes he will go into the kitchen and yell "roach!! roach!!!" just to get me to get me to freak out!!! And of course, there is never a roach. LOL

Stomp it! and then Stomp it again.. did you know those things have 9 lives? Once it's been thoroughly stomped and it's little guts are hanging out... scoop it up and take it to the yard.. roast it in the BBQ.. or if you don't have a means to do that.. flush it.. noooo wait, they love the sewer, there may be a secret weapon within it that revives the creatures... just stomp it to pieces and trash the dang bug.. . Bugs don't scare me... I am woman hear me roar! winks

I hate any kind of insects or bugs! I would ask my boyfriend or some other people to get rid of the cockroach.

I think I would probably sweep it out the door... I don't think there are any cockroaches in Michigan, but if there was... The one bug I can't seem to handle is a very ugly spider.

bugs are scared of me because i torture them to death for having annoyed me. sometime i use them to scare my sister, they are so useful for blackmailing her.
first step:
spray it with antibugs but usually it don't have immediate effect. so...
2nd step:
when it is overturned, pour some washing liquid or any detergent available at home.
3rd step:
put some salt on it
4th step:
slam a bulky book on it or put a rug on it and jump on the rug.
you see killing a cockroach can be very funny at time
