I star almost everything I answer, except when I forget to do so. In my opinion, if the Q is worthy of an answer it's worthy of a star as well. It's such a small effort, yet such a courteous gesture.
However, I feel uncomfortable answering this Q without having first verified that you are not a clone. This appears a non-comical Q, and so unlike the user I know with this screen name.

Not necessarily questions of my contacts, but I do feel pretty obligated to star questions that are good and / or interesting to me. Have one! I'll even go back through my answers and look for questions I've forgotten to star.

I don't feel obligated I just star to let them know I at least read it even if it is drivel--LOL yeah I know what you mean my contacts are the heat as well....

I only star questions that I think are interesting or enjoy. If a cow asks a stupid question then no star for you....sorry.

for some of my contacts, i star no matter what. others, not always. it really depends on my mood. sometimes i don't star on purpose because i don't want all my contacts reading my answer. but, that's just me.

i star questions that i want my contacts to notice,cuz i think it's funny or somethin' .
I like my contacts too. and i like some of my contacts contacts ,even tho i don't nesecarily have them as my own, for some 'who knows why' reason.

I try and reward a good answer when I recieve it! Alot of times the answers you get depend on whether you ask a good question, or a stupid one :)
