I know its gross but here goes, over the past few weeks, I have had 99% loose stools. Not as loose as diarrhea, but close. Some looser than others. I eat pretty healthy and my eating habits havent changed. I am racking my brain as to what I am eating or drinking thats different than before, but there isnt anything. I have always had a weak stomach and occasional digestive issues but, not consistent like this. Any ideas?

Well if you are concerned enough to ask on here than I think it qualifies for asking your doctor. You should call them up and ask for a referral to see a gastroenterologist. It could be something serious or something as simple as eating too much fiber. Do you consume a lot of fiber products? Have you gone out of the US recently? Have you started any new medications? These are typically questions the doctor will ask you and it will help him/her determine what the cause is and how to make it better. Asking on yahoo is just about as good as diagnosing your own health from internet sites and that is never a good idea either. Do yourself a favor and call the doctor! ;o)

Meats and dairy products will tighten up your stools. Sometimes too much caffeine, fiber, veggies or fruit can make your stools loose. Watch your diet and change it accordingly to see how things go.

You probably have Irritable Bowel Syndrome. I have it too and it is very uncomfortable. If you're in the older age group, it could be a sign of colon cancer.
