Having a childhood has made me more aware of the needs of my children and the need to fill them.
Having parents with little drive for their own betterment has made me have a drive to do better.
Having a father who was always willing to leave things as they are has made me look around for how thiongs could be better.

Talking with grandparents & hearing stories of how they lived through the depression influenced me to appreciate what I have. When your grandpa tells you he only got 1 present for Christmas his whole childhood & it was an orange then you wonder all the things kids get today. I also never had religon pounded into my head as a child so that has let me decide on what I believe in.
