Breast. I don't think there are any conclusive facts that state it makes a person smarter. Feeding your baby by the breast is obviously the best way to feed your child and is natural, otherwise the breast wouldn't produce milk. I think it is better for a child's development to breast feed but there are some very good formulas out there too these days. I think it also helps with the bonding cycle.

I can't remember...I think breast-fed. I was born two months early, though, so I'm not sure if that had anything to do with what I was fed or not.
I'm no rocket scientist, but I'm pretty smart. I went to a good college and everything. I love school. But I think that also has a lot to do with nurture, not just nature.

I was bottle fed (allergic to breast milk).
I don't see the link between that and intelligence--I started kindergarten the day I turned five, graduated high school with a 3.8 GPA, was in honors English and history, graduated college with a Bachelor's Degree and a 3.6 GPA, etc. No problems here!

I was bottle fed and NOT breast fed, and NO it does not make you smarter! I graduated high school as valadictorian and I graduated college 2nd out of 5,000 students in my Senior Class; with a GPA of 4.00 so from where I'm sitting it obviously does not make you smarter.

According to several studies, breast feeding may help your brain growth, leading to making you smarter. I'm pretty sure that I was a mix of both breast feeding and the bottle. My mother is a big fan of mixing things up.
