What is your question? What you entered is not even a sentence -- I sure hope that you are not teaching.

Cost of living is a HUGE factor when looking at teaching salaries (or any salary). For instance, where I live the starting teacher salary is about $40,000 but the average price for a home is over $700,000. Other places in the country have starting salaries around $30,000 but houses cost $100,000. Unfortunately, getting an advanced degree does not increase your salary much. In my district, it increases your salary about $1000 a year which means it will take you many years just to make up the money you spent earning the advanced degree.

Call and ask the human resources office of the school district in which you are interested for a salary schedule. Public school salary schedules are public record.

English must not be your native language. Leave the "would be" out.

Depends, some teachers tend to make more then others.

ITs good you asked here though, i remember ages ago when i asked one of my old teachers "How much do teachers get paid"

She flipped out and tried to get me expelled for harassment
Even with a whole class to back me up when she tried to lie and say i squeezed her butt and said teachers never got paid enough.

So yeah... :o)
Dont ask because theres a good chance they will flip out

Dunno why people get so offended, no one judges you on how much you earn (Excluding who.res and teenage girls)
