I don't see any other players playing for free. Its a business, plain and simple. Most players go where the money is. Very few players are willing to turn down a better offer to play for their current team. How well would the Sox have done if Oritz was still on the Twins, Rameriz still with Cleveland, Lowell w/ the Yanks, and so on down the line.

I don't understand this line of thinking. Is there anyone among us who would turn down an ungodly sum of money being waved in our faces to play a kid's game? I personally don't blame the players, I blame the owners.
