Not really, just the ******* that think that Texas is the only state. I grew up in Texas and don't think that it is so great. There is nothing truly special except I have seen more people with state pride (those ******* I referred to earlier). Of course you can't forget the big SUVs that those people drive, but that happens in other places too.
The expression comes from the fact that, for many years, Texas was the biggest state. It dwarfed most other states, so the ignorant thought that everything was bigger from there.

I'm from TEXAS and I don't LACK any confidence..........Bigger isn't always better........Better isn't always bigger.........I have heard that phrase, I don't use it.......Every State has it's own sayings and I don't think rude remarks need to be made about any State, this is just supposed to be a fun question...........
*EDIT* Well I apologize Wanda, sorry I was having a bad morning. I was up all night with a Texas size toothache.....

most things are bigger in texas including the mexican population and the school are two stories. things are to crowded and there is always traffic from sun up to sun down.

Heck no I am from SC and lived in san antonio for 6 years ,I did not see anything but the weather "hoter " than heck I moved by to SC much better weather
