i recently found out that i do not ovulate. this shouldve been obvious to me, since i started having my periods regularly at eleven, then at fourteen i didnt have one for a year, and now, at eighteen, they come and go whenever they please. i could go for six months without having a period. it sounds all nice and dandy but my fiance and i are trying to conceive. if i don't ovulate, i don't conceive. does anyone have any ideas about how to increase ovulation? or any ideas on how to increase my chance of becoming pregnant?

I really don't know how this is related to science but in some provinces of Cebu, Philippines some couples who have difficulty of conceiving a child go to the local "manghihilot" to get their lower tummy massaged before they have intercourse. It's not faith healing though and there's no operation...just massage.I don't know if it's really effective but our family driver did wait around 4 years before someone convinced them to go to a "manghihilot". Now they have 3 children. And then at certain time, they didn't want to conceive anymore so they went to the manghihilot again to (sort of) deactivate it.

My mom also sought help from a "manghihilot". I am her only child.

I'm not forcing you to believe this either. I just feel I had to share what's being practiced here.

Maybe you just need timing or if you are overworked try not to be workaholic. Find time to rest. Your ovulation may also be affected with stress.

At 18, your body may be just nmot ready to ovulate regularly. Some women just do not until they are in their early 20's. If you genmuinely do not, however and it has a cause you may want to speak to your doctor about clomid. This drug, you shoudl research heavily first PLEASE!!, will help to induce ovulation. I highly recomend a secodn opinion on ANYthign you do that involves this type of stuff however. Many doctors will jump to prescribe and OVER-prescribe this type of medication.
Best of luck to you, and I wish you and your fiance success in your journey to parenthood.
