Didn't you just ask this question?
Here is what I said on the same thing you ask before:
Nope I would vote for a good candidate no matter what sex they are....But remember what I said it would have to be a good candidate....Not these people we have now....
Now if Condoleezza Rice ran for president I would vote for her.

I think that American women for the most part are incredibly smart, which is why they don't really cherish the job of the American Presidency. Seriously - it would set women back 100 years because all the job would entail is cleaning up the mess and making right what men have done wrong for so many years. It's a thankless job where your damned if you do and damned if you don't.
I am a woman and I have to see a female candidate that sparks my interest enough to vote for her. Women have only had the political equality for about 50 years - so we are relatively new comers to the process. Look at men - they have had the opportunity since the outset of our young country and far more presidents are mediocre than great.
Women don't want to use the American as public as a guinea pig - when we find the RIGHT woman to be the first female president we will make damn sure she gets in. Hillary isn't it.

No, Americans are Not Brainwashed....The Hand that Rocks the Cradle Rules the World!
Women in America did not get to vote until the 1920's hindered by some who were racist and did not want women who were former slaves to have the vote and could have had it sooner. The 1960's and the Civil Rights Movement opened the door of opportunity for women to hold office and many were elected in key states. Before then they were considered chattel and could own no property. Still now in some states are still the Property of their husbands. Mississippi is one of them.
Secondly, there are not enough of them Qualified to be The President simply because they have Not actually Governed anything not even a small county! Being an Attorney is not enough and their voting records reveal a lot about their moral character and inexperience in actually Listening to the American people. Not just one side of the facts or pandering to Special Interest groups. The same applies to Male candidates!

A female president is coming. I'm not happy about it, but I think Hillary will win in 08.
As far as the argument that there would be no war if women ran the world, I think Thacher killed that point when she went to war over that pile of rocks known as the Falkland Islands.
I think it was easier for countries who were ruled by a Queen to accept a female president, but that country isn't America. It will take some getting used to, especially when the female president sounds like the aliens from the movie Mars Attacks.

I'm not american, I'm italian girl...But also in Italy we've never had a female president of the repubblic. I think is big dial that's about mostly the culture and the tradition... infact one woman can lead better than a man, may be there were less wars... people must learn to accept big changes...In America as in Italy and in the most part of the world. We have to give to women a chance to show us how can worth and the women have to try to expose theirselfs and change this world sometimes misogynist. It's hard but is the only way to have full democracy

Because no woman that the majority of the populace supported has run for president as of yet. I would have voted for Margaret Thatcher if she was a US citizen and I would vote for Clarence Thomas for president but no Hillary and no Jesse Jackson

Actually, women did not even have the right to vote until the early twentieth century. There is still a lot of lingering bias towards men as chief executives. a lot of the movement towards "equality" has come only in the last forty or so years.

Whats with the assumption that we HAVE to have a female President at some point. Just because a certain race or sex has not yet been president does not mean that we NEED one.
