i found out last year i had a heart condition which left me in a induced coma for a week since then i have not had a period which is nearly 12 months ago now im worried. doctors told me that because of trumma to my body this can happen but its normaly sorts its self out by 12 months. i wanna start trying for a baby and the doctor told me that i could still ful pregnant with out my period how is this so im concerned and need to no if there is any think that u can do to start my period again please help thanks

I would recommend getting another opinion and preferably from someone that does not share the same office of the doctor you currently see. It's possible that a hormone imbalance might be going on as well to cause the periods to not come.
