When a person forgets something, tries there damn best to remember but does not, the other person (teacher, employer etc) may condemn them for it.
But if they cannot prove that the person was not trying thier best, then they have no right to condemn them.

If you agree or disagree say why?

Forgetting is a but a normal process of the brain and everyone has this ability to forget. People who condemn other because they easily forget should look at a mirror. No one is perfect.

Well sometimes I agree, but then I could disagree if there were something that I originally agreed upon and then found out additional information then I might not agree anymore and I would certianly agree to let you know as soon as possible about our agreement and/or breach of contract before you become disagreeable because really we all love to be in agreement and I cannot stand to disagree for long just need to get into the right agreement with a group of people who will refuse to disagree with me no matter how much double talk I throw at them or how admant I am about being right about all of the wrong things in the world, sometimes I like to take the opposite side to see the other party squirm and that is not agreeable either...
So what was your question?

You don't condemn them, but there may be consequences to not remembering. If I forget something on a test, I get a lower test grade. I might get docked some pay by my employer. Teachers and employers have to hold students and employees to some standard. That's a teacher's job and an employers business.

It is frustrating when you can't remember something that maybe is very important, but I don't think anyone should be condemned for it.
There are times when I forget things that sometimes might seem important at the time, but in reality, it didn't matter THAT much. It's just the way some of us are wired and things we wish we could remember we don't and some really useless bits of information is stuck in our brain forever!!

It is only human to forget things and the older you get the more easy it becomes to forget,so much so that when you approach old age you will enter a room then wonder what the heck you went in for.I find pad & pencil quite useful to jot down important "must do's" meanwhile don't worry, if asked just say "sorry I don't remember". No shame in that.

Sometimes trying your best is not sufficient..

One doctor tries his best but the patient dies while a second doctor could have saved the patient.

Forgetting something is not a valid excuse. You should have a system to remember things.

interesting logic but the person should show that they are trying their best to recall. The burden of proof lies with them.

Everyone forgets things now and then. They should not be criticized for it.
