I guess it depends on how old the person is who is judging. 25 is old to a 10 year old. 25 is young to a 50 year old. If you think that the average life span is about 80 years old, 25 is still young.

I hope not or I'm like over the hill!

Maybe they mean you are old enough to know better....
it may be the time that you are supposed to be more responsible and financially stable....

I read a question the other day that was something like I want to date an older guy... he's like 30 or something....I was like Whoa! I'm old... never thought of myself as an older woman until then. Not like I am scouting the playgrounds or anything, but dag, I didn't realize that the young people consider me as an older woman.

The older you get the higher that age gets that people claim you are old at. I am 60 but I don't consider that old because a lot of our friends are almost 70. Age is just a number!!!
We oldsters say that all the time!!

i dont think so. i heard that 50 is the new 30 so i think you start getting old when you hit 40. that's just my opinion though. i'll be 27 in a few weeks, so i am hoping that that's not true too!

If someone is telling YOU to grow up & you're 25, then that's a cue that you're not acting your age. It doesn't have anything to do with getting old. It's a maturity issue. As far as old goes, I think you're old if you were on the TItantic and still alive!!! <*)))><

Age is just a number. You're as old as you feel. I'm 50, and when my kids tease me about my age, I tell them that if they're lucky, they may have the privilege of reaching my age someday. I've known old 20-30 year-olds, and young 70-80 year-olds.

I hope not! I never heard that before. I always hear people say 30 is the start of 'being old'.
