The Tribe....
The Rockies still would have had to start the series on the road after an 8 day lay off.
The Tribes pitching was pretty good. The series might have gone 6-7 games but I think the Tribe would have won.

Any of the AL teams would have been heavily favored against the Rockies. The Rockies would have the best chance of upsetting the Angels due to their injury issues. The Indians would likely have swept them too.

If Sabathia and Carmona were really as drained as they showed in the ALCS (and which greatly contributed to them NOT getting to the World Series), then the Rockies would likely be looking to pop champagne, if not by now, then by the end of what would have been Game 6.
The Sox tore them both to shreds, but they were each quite obviously gassed, had nothing.

The series between the Rox and Rockies was a complete joke too. I've seen better Little League Teams than the Rockies.

If the Rockies hitting was as bad against the Indians as it was against the Sox, then I think the Indians would have won.

Indians in 5 or 6, the AL really is that much better. In fact, NY, LA, or Detroit could've handled the Rockies easily.

INDIANS...no doubt.
It was the hitting and pitching that beat the Rockies and the INDIANS just barely have less than the RED SOX.
