2000.
Ever since we were kids they used to tell us that the year 2000 will be the beginning of the age of technology and that everything will be controled by computers and robots and everything.
So when 2000 came I expected that I will go to my father's workshop in a space-craft, cut glass with lazer and watch three dimensional pictures.
All I got is a doll that can sing "akhasmak ah aseebak la using a microchip planted in the back".

The year Israel invaded Lebanon..I forget the year, but I remember "The Massacre" the one that outraged people worldwide at the savage killings of thousands of Lebanese people. That prompted a PR campaign in Israel that meant
they would bribe media companies with huge kickbacks for not "exposing" such blatant atrocities committed by them. A campaign that has worked very well for them here in the USA.

About me I will say 1992 that's why the big earthquake happened here in Egypt & there are also a lot of terrorism actions in Egypt in that year.

My husband was born that year so its a great year becasue he came out of it, but my worst year would probable be 1985. My dad was murdered that year.

2. My Granny
3. My Uncle this month
4. My Aunt lost her baby when she was pregnant.
And also many good things happened.

For me it was 1975! It was an absolute shocker ! My wife & I both lost our Dads that year & it was just horrible...it still causes an ache just to think of it !
