Just imagine if Vince had fooled everyone and it turns out to be someone else.

Is there any one at all who could appear tonight that would make people think "that's even better than Y2J!"

We all know it's Jericho but just let your imagination run wild.

That's very true and an excellent idea.

Not sure. Don't think there's anyone (besides perhaps RVD) who isn't too old to be making this kind of appearance and introduction.

First off it's not RVD or Sid Vicious.Van Dam is in talks with TNA about a possible contract.Given that Impact is up to 2hrs & Jeff Jarrett plans to increase the roster, his signing is a shoo-in.
Sid Vicious won't be signing. At 47 years old, he's too old to be a main-eventer again.Besides he has never fully recovered from that leg-snap injury he got at the WCW Sin ppv in 2001.
It's Y2J for sure but Vince is teasing out his comeback.Bonnie Hammer the US Network president had told Vince to hold off Y2J's comeback. It's in order to boost the Raw ratings - which have hit a 10-year low recently.Vince teases out the Jericho return & we still watch & wait.
My guess is the SaveUs videos will still air on Raw. SD & ECW to promote his comeback.I'd say Chris Jericho will make his return at Survivor Series. That gives the storyliners time to properly map out his character, angle & gimmick.Cannot wait!!

There are very few people who would be a better substitute and right now I can only think of The Rock and Austin.
Rocky is off making moves, so the only time he is coming back is to special guest one night (probably via satellite too) or he's got a new movie to plug. And since I don't see him doing any WWE movies, I doubt that's going to happen.

Austin can't wrestle anymore. He might do some spot appearances or come to promote another WWE movie, but that's all for him.

Even though there has been plenty of things pointing to Y2J I'm not going to say it's him until I actually see him come out.

To the answer above me. Both of those storylines got messed up by issues and WWE had to scramble to write new storylines. The Vince's death was going to be longer but then Benoit died and they couldn't keep it going out of respect for his family. Vince's son was supposed to be Mr. Kennedy but then he got suspended for drugs, so now we have Hornswoggle McMahon.
NOW. On the Y2J Issue.
It simply has to be Jericho. No RVD i don't really want him back he needs to give up on the weed and realize he can't work for a major company and be sitting around smoking weed. That's disrespectful to every working man in America. Y2J is a clean class act who is the only person i could think of who can save WWE right now. Unless Bret Hart sparks out of retirement which we all know the odds of that one.

Y2J or no Y2J, if they don't resolve this Save Us thing tonight on RAW i am going to be very confused and seriously losing interest in it altogether. Being a Jericho promo makes the most sense to me, but when have WWE story lines ever had to make sense, especially recently? Vince's staged death? I know that one never really finished but i didn't find it to be all that interesting. Hornswoggle as his son? Oh please.

While I do think it is Jericho, there is another person it might be. I think it could be Psycho Sid Vicious. He has stated that he has wanted to come back and it would be the biggest comeback in WWE history. While it is a longshot it is a possibility.

to me, the only suitable substitute would be The Rock or Stone Cold Steve Austin but it's neither one of them so, yeah. it better be Y2J.

I just hope that it does not go the same way as "Lost".
That programme has ended up in Room 101 for me.
It was good at the beginning, but now it is so crap.

The only satisfactory substitute would be Rob Van Dam
