my friend loves this guy and i can tell, but she finally told her parents after 2 mons........ and they wont let her date him becuz they care about her... she asked me for advice and i told her that her parents care about her and want the best for her. you will thank them later on but if you still think you guys deserve to be together expalin that to your parents. but if they still dont let yall be to gether explain to _ that you two can only be friends for now and you never know yall might grow closer together.. my two friends are in the 9th grade. and since i told her all that she hasnt talked to me because she still wants to be with him and she thinks i am taking her mom and dads side what should i do?

Well, your friend obviously has some trust issues with you.. If she believes you're on your mom and dad's side, let her think that.. Don't force her to think a certain way or do a certain thing, just be there for her if she has anything else to say.. She's just confused right now. She needs some time to get over the fact that her parents won't let her date this guy.. Right now, all you can do is be supportive of whatever she decides..

I think your friend wants you to tell her what she wants to hear. Don't worry about it too much, if she's a true friend she'll get over it soon. You said the right thing, don't regret it.

well u said what u have to say, if she doesnt talk to you thn she is taking this whole thing to heart... i remember whn i was in 9th grade my friends would always "not talk to me" if i didnt say what they wanted to hear..
.
and we're not even friends anymore because friends like those that decide to ignore you because of something simple are not worth being your friends...

obvisiouly she wasn't a true friend, because if she was true she wouldn't get so mad about. So what i would say is to move on. All you were trying to do was gived advice like she had asked.
