My bet is that they pay very little if any in Federal Taxes. That is because they are receiving some sort of aid and want more. They want you and me to pay more in taxes not them. It is easy to say we need more programs when they are not actually paying for them.

Nobody has said we don't pay enough...it's where the money goes that's the question. Mostly it goes to our already over bloated military, and most of that money is borrowed. Meanwhile the very things that make this a first world country go begging. Our social and physical infrastructure falls apart, our investment in education, arts and science gets less and less and the 'leadership' has an almost religious belief that cutting taxes for the already well off and corporations is a good thing......maybe it is, but why are we borrowing so much money from China if cutting taxes brings in 'more' money? The short answer is that we're spending way too much on a military that can't even get out of it's own way, and to add insult to injury accepts missions that it can't do. Not very PC of me, but if this 'war' is worth it how come we have to pay people a bonus to join up? Why not a 'war tax'? The military and the Bush Junta are stealing you blind, saddling you with debt, and you get a made in China flag to wave. We pay too much in taxes for the wrong purpose....don't tell the right wing talk show bozo I said that.....I'll have 'swift-boat' in front of my house before noon!

I think we pay enough taxes, and I take the exemptions I can get. I think that our tax money should be reinvested in the people of america in social programs more so than developing better ways to blow up brown people, building fences to keep people out, and coming up with "trade agreements" that rip off everybody but the corporate big wigs.

Ummm, I have never meet anyone that says we don't pay enough in taxes. I have meet quite a few REALISTS who think that because of the out of control spending of our government, our taxes will be increased.

I have never met anyone who says we don't pay enough taxes, only people who do not mind paying a little extra if it goes on something to make the lives of Americans better.
Too bad the wealthy aristocrats that neocons are always defending, do not believe that way.
Like usual, your logic is skewed, just like when you equate pro-choice to pro-abortion, as if people are out there trying to get everyone to have abortions.

The problem here in our country is that there are people who make a living just finding ways to tax anything that moves or breathes and anything else that can be taxed. There's just too much taxes

Yes and it comes from the left....Remember everyone should be equal....No ones should every have enough ambition to work hard and become rich...Everyone should get everything for Fee from the government. The government should run your life and tell you what you should and should not do....As Hillary said: "I have a million ideas but America cant afford them"

Yes, about as often as those people who complain that social programs are socialist giveaways use them when they get in a hard place.
