I have to do a essay on "Why am I an american Patriot". It is due Wen. October 31st. It has to be between 300 & 400 words long. It can not be any longer then 400. Please Help Me! Thank You So Much!

Well, in particular, what are your beliefs? I personally believe a true patriot is one who absolutely despises the current administration, no matter the circumstance, in all instances, and would go as far as to have peaceful protest against a problem he has with something. A true patriot doesn't support war at random, doesn't enjoy the killing of innocents, and intends to work peacably with the world.
Now, if you believe that a real patriot protests, then I find it highly reasonable that you write that down. But I'm not really here to tell you what you believe.

First you must decide what a patriot is. To me, a patriot is someone who stands for and supports their country and people - regardless of who the leader is. Given that, it is possible for two patriots to disagree on the best course of action for the people. Taking the best action for the people/country sometimes means knowing when to protest - and when not to protest. The idea that someone must take certain or specific action is based on someone's opinion, not on patriotism.....
