ah it toke my a long time to find out how buy i can do it now just go up to the horse and press A buy don't have anything attached to your hands like the scrubbing thing because you can't ride you horse with something on your hands

To get on, make sure you aren't equipped with a tool, walk up to the horse and press A. To get off, just press A again.
If you throw shippable items at the horse it will go into its saddle bags and automatically be picked up at 5, just like the normal shipping bin.

make sure theres no tool [like the milker] in your hands, or items [like vegetables], then just stand beside it, facing it and press A. then just move around like you would normally, to get off, press A again.
