My due date tomorrow, i know im having a girl, i stil dont have a name but recently iv liked the name Kyla, i would prefer to spell it different just to make it a bit more modern. Her last namewill be spencer any suggestions for middle names? Partners mother wants me to use her name but im not sure (sophia).

First of all, I would never name my child for someone bold enough to make those "wishes" known. LOL That's just poor taste (on her part) to try to guilt you into "honoring" her. Not much an honor, under the circumstances. ;)
That said, Kyla already IS a "modern" name. It's part of the HUGE Kyleigh, Kayley, Kayla, Kailyn, Kaitlyn, Kaya, etc. (various random spellings) trend at the moment, as well as K names in general, and comes across as nothing but "modern" and trendy. If you love it, and don't want a name that will stand out in any way, it's a fine choice. This one will blend right in with all the others. But no need to misspell it in an effort to make it more "now." Because it's already there. LOL
You might also like Lila, Lilah, Layla, Leila, Laila or Lola, by the way. ;)

I think Kyla Sophia sounds nice, even though I don't usually like when both names end in -a.

I'm not a fan of Sophia but maybe Sophy or Sophie
I like Kyla but not Kyla Sophia Spencer I think the double A's dont roll off the tongue!

Kyla is a very pretty name that will grow well with a little girl. I don't care for Kyla Sophia however.

I can't really think of any way to spell Kyla differently, but I love the name Sophia. I think Kyla Sophia Spencer is pretty.

I love the name Kyla. I wanted that to be my baby's name, but it doesn't sound good with our last name b/c it starts with an L. Kyla Sophia sounds ok if u choose to use her grandmother's name. I also like Kyla Jiselle.
