When I go shopping to the supermarket, for example, I park my car (which is my pride & joy - gorgeous, fast & I love it) in a space that's far away from other cars, where I think it'll be safe from getting bashed or scratched.

However, when I get out of the shops and return to my 'mean machine' some goddam mini van, truck, 4x4 or bashed up wreck of a car has parked next to me!!!!!!!

I'm so p*ssed off cos first of all what the heck do they have to park right next to me for when there's loads of spaces in the car park and why are they sooooo close????

I have to do a double take when I see it cos I just can't believe it's happened again, and then I get angry and then I start swearing as I'm walking over to my car (other shoppers probably think I've gone mad) and when I get to my car I have to check it to see if this fool who's parked next to me has scratched or bumped my door or something. And if they have then I'll be waiting for them when they return.

WHY? (anyone relate?)

EVERYONE - Please read Order In Chaos's reply - what a JERK!!!

For your information Mr Chaos Fool I am not self absorbed and I do not double park, I can park my car very well within a single spot, I passed my test first time and can drive better than you anyday.

I can afford to keep my car but why should I have to suffer damage from uncaring, disrespectful people parking too close and dinting my doors etc. And by the sounds of it that's what YOU do for KICKS!!!!

The fact that you say you 'despise' people like me, who have worked hard all their life, paid all their taxes, respected others and just bought themselves a nice car and want to look after it shows YOU UP big style......

And I'm a qualified Financial Adviser so don't try and give me advice about 'depreciation'......

YOU should be ashamed of yourself for admitting that you 'TAKE JOY' out of parking next to people who look after their things and leave NASTY notes for them.

GET LOST!!!!!!!!!!!!

BIKERBOUL TBY this is for YOU

I don't do financial advice anymore because I am honest and decided that why should people 'pay' for my advice when I couldn't predict for certain that they were gonna make money. I only did it for a couple of years, but I was open & honest about everything.

I don't rip people off and never have done.

I may be qualified but you can all make your own decisions about your investments. Most of them are a waste of time, with the exception of property, that's my only tip off........

And speaking as someone who doesn't like to take risks I couldn't ask someone else to do so either.

I hope that redeems me in that respect..

I can absolutely relate. I did not even make my first car payment, when someone dinged the door. The dent is still there! People are stupid, lazy, inconsiderate. They don't think of how hard someone worked to get their car. They also think everyone wants to drive a piece of **** like they have. My husband reminds me that it is only a material object, but it still makes me angry. If only one would really treat each other and their belongings with care and respect we would'nt be having this conversation. Unfortunately, it is the world we live in.

Amber, I do understand. It kind bothers me when that happens too. What really annoys me is when I go to the effort to park my car far away from anyone, where no one in the world is parked at all. I come back to my car and see that someone parked next to it, and dented my rig.

I guess you just have to look at it as, it can only happen once. After it is dented, the damage is done. Maybe get some trim to keep the metal safe?

No matter what, good luck. And don't let the small stuff get to you.....

Because, like you, they also want to park away from the busy parts of a car park because they need more space to park their huge vans/trucks/4x4s. Try parking next to some nice new looking BMWs/Audis/Mercs etc. The owners of these cars will be just as reluctant as you to scratch their cars so will be more careful.

OMG, its just a car, i think there are more important things to get annoyed over than some one parking a banger next to your car, why not just park in the middle to two spaces next time.

They do it just to make you angry. You separate yourself by showcasing your car out in the middle of no where so everyone can see and admire your car, so they knock you down a notch by parking thier crappy car next to you.
Just park with everybody else and things like this won't happen.

I despise self absorbed people who double park like you. When ever I can I take joy out of parking as close to and/or leaving very disparaging notes "cos", well, its illegal for one.

Your living in a society. Leave the pretty car at home if you can't afford to up-keep it.

Its going to depreciate one way or another (worst investment possible but for someone who writes like you, your probably oblivious to this also).

**Reads like Amber has difficulty interacting with people. Probably why she lost her job in the financial industry.
My guess is that she is divorced at least once also !

Remember kids, interpersonal skills are very important in the real world !

PS, I gave this an interesting star so others can see how pathetic and self obsorbed you are and hopefully learn from it. Cheers !

You sound deranged, maybe you should seek help. People parked there because it's a car park. They probably saw your car, assumed that the carpark was busier closer to the stores, and parked up next to you. Take a few deep breathes, and don't let it bother you, life is stressful enough!

happens all the time to me. in supermarket and carparks.

when they hit your car with their door and say "sorry"

i just reply.. NO you mean sorry you were caught.. just coz you have some sh** box car.. I don't want a matching one.

although I had a go at someone for stealing a space for my car.. I was in the lift with them, and was looking at my keys ;-) and gave them a very evil look... she was worried.

the best one I saw, some idiot parked taking up 2 spaces.. someone pinned a note on his wind screen saying you park like a **** (it rhymes with blunt)

i've had my car dinged and the person drove off in a carpark. put a 2 inch dent in my wing.

a lot of the newer cars are too big for old spaces, also the fact they probably have small.. errmm u know whats.. lol

that annoys me , but I don't have nice looking cars now , due to asbo magnets keying and denting them.

She sounds insecure and afraid which you will %. up somebody else at the same time as out at the same time with your persons. in case your friends have achieved this and your spouse understands approximately it she is afraid that they might attraction to you. possibly you're able to desire to sit down down her down and refer to her approximately what she is feeling once you opt for day trip at the same time with your persons? If the boys are hitting the bar scene possibly you mustn't and basically carry out with them for a activities recreation or going fishing and issues like that.

By being in that space, you are presenting the concept to another person that being away from the store is an acceptable alternative to being up close to the store.
