You're right. The odds are that you are more likely to get hit by a drunk driver.

How many Americans die each year from drunk drivers? How many die from terrorist attacks? I know people who have been killed, or disabled by drunks. I don't personally know anybody killed by terrorists. Even in '01 drunks did a better job of killing Americans than the terrorists. So, when is the "war on drunk driving" going to commence? Bet it's as successful as the "war on drugs".

I think it depends on where you live. I'm pretty sure in the US you're much more likely to be killed by a drunk. There haven't been any Muslim terrorist killings that I've heard of since 9/11 in the US but people are killed just about every day from drunk drivers.

In today's America, terrorists and drunk driver's have something in common. They are both seen as more sympathetic figures than the president.
That's a sickness that has no remedy. Drunks can be rehabilitated.

I would say a drunk driver.........

You are also more likely to be killed by a drunk driver than struck by lightening. That doesn't mean I'm going to stand in a puddle on the fairway of my local golf course waving my nine iron over my head during an electrical storm.....

You should be more fearful of the drunk right now, but ignoring the terrorists will increase your chances for the latter.
