both trane and rheem make good furnaces. when you change out your furnace you will probably want to change your a-coil and trane's all aluminum a-coil is by far the better choice, so i would recommend going with trane

the trane XV 95 is the most efficient furnace made by the way.

The two top rated are the Trane V 90 Series or the Rheem Prestige Series 90 you can do a web search on both.

3 years ago we put in a Rheem 90 plus. Very satisfied as heating bill did you down but also in how quiet it is!!! Wow! The unit is next to bedrooms and I can't hear it come on at night. One detail you have to remember with the super energy efficient is they condense water so a drain is necessary nearby to carry off the water. That can be tricky....where is the nearest drain?
