I have only shopped online when I could not get what I needed locally. My most recent purchase online was a pair of shoes that were not available in the color I wanted in the local outlet. They were a gift for a relative. I do not enjoy shopping for the most part. I shop when I have something specific in mind, and I am a hit it and get it kind of shopper. The exception would be the one you mentioned, bookstores. I would have to add music stores and an occasional stop at a tack shop to see if something catches my eye for one of the horses.

Maybe once in a blue moon will I shop online. Most times I will go to where I need to go if I can get a ride. The only place that I spend any time is the bookstore. I could spend several hours in a good bookstore. If I were rich enough to afford it I would buy several hundred $'s worth of books every week.

Yes, I shop online often. It's the easiest way to purchase a wedding, graduation or baby gift because so many young people do those online "wish lists" that tell you exactly what they want/need. I'm awaiting the day when my grand-kids can do an online Christmas wish list for me. No more hunting for the perfect gift and standing in line!!!!
I seldom purchase my own clothing online. I'd rather try it on and see if I really like the way it looks on me, feel the fabric, etc.

I have shopped ebay a few times. The p.j.s I like are over $40 now in stores and I get them for $10 plus $4 shipping. (new) I got a $140 bread maker for a total of $45. (near new) I browse now and then. It is easy and I hate shopping. I just got a two piece dress for an upcoming cruise for $20 with the tags still on it, price $138. There are good deals.

I used to buy a lot of things on the Internet. Radios, air purifiers, shoes, toys, books, videos, tools, make-up... But I got ripped off for $155, the last time I tried to purchase Ahava hand cream from a different vendor than usual. I talked to eBay and Paypal. I even filled out forms through eBay for the FBI! But nothing ever happened. I haven't bought anything over eBay since. Which is ridiculous, I only got burned once.

I shop online several times a year. Ebay and other websites like amazon.com. It's so much easier than searching the brick & mortar stores, and lots of times the prices are lower online. I've been doing quite a bit of online shopping lately for Christmas presents. In fact, I just placed 2 more orders this morning and got free shipping with both sites.

I do very little shopping online. I will admit to a lot of window shopping online though. I do a lot of price comparisons, especially when I need to purchase an expensive item. I used to do quite a bit of ebay shopping, but my wallet was getting a bit thin so I stopped for a while.

Italy is extremely expensive for clothing and shoes.I'm an avid Ebayer,I buy from the UK and the States. My other problem is I have big feet,I'm 5'11" and to find a size 10/11 here is a joke.I also buy used books, as I enjoy reading a book in it's original language.Nothing worse than an English book translated into Italian!

I have been buying and selling on Ebay for several years. It is a good way to find items that cannot be found anywhere else. We don't have many swap meets or flea markets here in Washington that I know of like we did in Orange County, CA, so online shopping is good for me sometimes. I like catalog shopping online if shipping is free and no sales tax is involved.
